Debuting in Rick’s 2013 spring summer show ‘Island’. The aptly named Island Dunks are a laceless high top silhouette featuring oversized eyelet tabs that evoke a hooded or “hoofed” effect referencing Owens’ architectural design language. For SS16 ‘Cyclops’ an oversized metal lace eyelet has been added to represent the mythical creatures eye that the season is named after, this is a sought after design element exclusive to this seasons releases of this silhouette.
